Description
The Merrimack Parks and Recreation Dept. and Merrimack Friends & Family invite the children of Merrimack to join us for the 15th Annual Easter Egg Hunt to be held at Wasserman Park Saturday, March 31st. This rain or shine event will start promptly at 11:00 a.m. for children ages 2 to 10.
Areas of Wasserman Park will be set up for various age groups:
- Toddler Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 2 & 3 will take place on the baseball field near the tennis courts.
- The upper basketball court area will be set up for children ages 4 & 5.
- Children aged 6 & 7 will search for Easter Eggs on the large athletic field near the function Hall.
- Children aged 8 to 10 will search for Easter Eggs in the area around the cabins.
Please remember this is for the children. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, parents are invited as spectators only and are not permitted on the fields. Only parents of toddlers may walk with their child. You will need to bring a basket or container of some kind for your treasures!
Merrimack Friends and Family will provide a bake sale for those of you wishing to purchase a treat. They are also hosting photos with the Easter Bunny for a small fee. You are welcome to bring a camera if you prefer to take your own photos. Please call the Parks & Recreation Dept. at 882-1046 with any questions.
